Staying at Buffalo Lodge felt like a charming journey into the past, with its unique bike-themed decor creating a delightful ambiance. While I loved the historic charm and the clean, cozy rooms, the lack of modern amenities and some maintenance issues were noticeable. The location is fantastic, just minutes away from major attractions, making it convenient for our travels. However, I did find the breakfast options lacking in variety, and some room facilities could use an upgrade.

The family-owned vibe added a nice touch, but it was a little inconvenient not having regular linen service without seeking it out.

I had a rather uncomfortable stay, as the room was quite outdated and in need of renovations. The cleanliness left something to be desired, especially in the bathroom. However, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made a difference. It’s clear they are working on upgrading the property, but my room just didn’t meet expectations this time around.

Staying at Buffalo Lodge was a unique experience that took me back in time with its historic charm and relaxed atmosphere. The rooms were clean but definitely in need of some updates. The location is fantastic, just a short drive to major attractions like the Garden of the Gods. However, I had a few issues with the service and amenities, particularly with the pool area and some neighbor disturbances.

The Buffalo Lodge offers a rustic yet charming experience that feels like home, particularly with its accommodating owners and dog-friendly policy. While the location is fantastic and the amenities well thought out, the breakfast options and some room maintenance could use improvement. Overall, we had a great time and definitely plan to return, especially for the fun atmosphere and community vibe.
